Aggressive anime girls come in all shapes and sizes. Some are aggressive only in certain situations, while others are aggressive in their everyday lives because of insecurities.
And then you have those who are gentle until you mess with them, and their more aggressive personality rises to the surface.
Whatever the case, let’s talk about it.

Most aggressive anime girls:
1. Balalaika (Black Lagoon)
Balalaika is no one to mess with. She’s stern, serious, about her business, about that life, and is willing to stand up to any threat.
Her soldiers and comrades are loyal because of her personality and commanding energy.
Most anime girls for one didn’t grow up like her (or girls in real life for that matter), and it’s why aggression is a defining characteristic for Balalaika as a female anime character.
2. Velmet (Jormungand)
Velmet from Jormungand is the right-hand woman of Koko Hekmatyar. It’s more accurate to say she will do anything for Koko, especially if it means getting rid of opposition, committing murder, or simply doing something simple that will help Koko smile.
This anime is about arms dealing, and characters like Koko are millionaires with the toughest bodyguards around (including Velmet), so it’s not surprising why Velmet has aggressive energy to a certain extent.
3. Mugino Shizuri (A Certain Scientific Railgun)
The leader of the underground group called ITEM, Mugino is a hard-ass female character who doesn’t tolerate bullshit. And she dislikes people who are incompetent, useless, worthless and don’t put in the work.
This is in part an insecurity on Mugino’s part but it drives her regardless and works as a strength if not pushed overboard.
She’s one of the “evil” characters of the series who kills or does unspeakable things for hire, which is to say for money.
Even though she’s a fearless leader, her emotions can sometimes stand in the way of decisions that would be smarter but are clouded by strong feelings and anger.
4. Toga Himiko (My Hero Academia)
Toga comes across as a fun-loving character in the MHA series, but she has a clear dark side being part of the league of villains.
She’s more than just a little psychotic in some aspects, and like many dark groups in MHA, mental health issues are clear.
Still, she has a heart which is hard to believe in some ways and operates a lot differently to other villains when it comes to morality or justice.
She’s aggressive but not angry, despite the two being similar.
5. Momo (The Executioner And Her Way Of Life)
Momo is the support character in the anime, and she’s the right-hand woman of Menou, the main female MC. She loves Menou and would do anything for her, and that much is clear.
In some scenes of the anime, we can see Momo losing her sh*t and going berserk, and it’s shown that she enjoys violence, more so when it’s a certain type of enemy or target.
She might be the most aggressive female character on this list.
6. Temari (Naruto)
Temari, the old Temari from the first season of Naruto and Shippuden, is the more aggressive type. She’s tough, strong, and appears to NOT have a nice bone in her body.
Growing up around Gaara, it’s no wonder she’s developed tough skin and can get aggressive when the time calls for it.
7. Soi Fon (Bleach)
Soi Fon is the leader of the stealth force and is a captain of the 13-court guard squads. Unlike others, she specializes in one-hit kill strikes and doesn’t use a traditional Zanpakuto.
She’s one of the fastest soul reapers and easily one of the more aggressive female characters with a tougher demeanour, leadership skills, and an attitude that doesn’t tolerate slack or excuses.
Though she does have a soft side.
8. Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail)
Erza, queen of the fairies, or Tatania, is the red-haired swordswoman who operates like a knight. Morals, principles, standards, she has it all.
Plus she has the looks to go with it and the brains when it comes to adapting to a fight and figuring out ways to win on the spot.
Her principles alone keep people in line and cause people to approach and respect her in a certain way.
With an arsenal of abilities thanks to her “requip” ability, she’s versatile and powerful, and few would go against her without the strength or the skills to try.
9. Chichi (Dragon Ball Z)
Chichi is treated like the annoying mother or wife of Dragon Ball Z who does nothing but argue, moan, bitch, complain, and cause trouble.
This is not just far from the truth, but it’s disingenuous as well.
Chichi does have an aggressive side when she gets protective of those she loves or when people take the piss, but otherwise, she’s the ideal housewife who holds down the fort and is loyal to the death.
She’s one of the best anime waifus and female characters in the history of anime (who’s misunderstood).
10. Lina Inverse (Slayers)
Lina Inverse is selfish and she has no problem displaying these traits. She wants it all for herself as a treasure hunter and isn’t the type to share unless it makes sense from a business point of view.
Though this changes of course with character development and all that jazz.
Still, Lina is an aggressive girl with a Tsundere personality type. Long before the Tsundere trope even became a cliche so many years later.
11. Natsume Tsujimoto (You’re Under Arrest)
Natsume Tsujimoto has a strong personality, and a sense of humour, and is dead serious when it comes to her job of being a Tokyo police officer.
As a female character, she knows martial arts and is capable of taking some men down with her skills and fearlessness. While still maintaining some feminine traits.
She can definitely be aggressive.
12. Kyo Fujibayashi (Clannad)
Kyo from Clannad is one of many supporting female characters. She plays the role of helping Tomoya in certain ways, but not before trying to get her sister into Tomoya since her sister Ryo liked him.
Kyo is aggressive when being protective and can have an “in your face” personality at times. But she knows when to soften up and chill out a bit.
13. Satou Matsuzaka (Happy Sugar Life)
Satou Matsuzaka is a gentle, feminine girl who is nice, kind, sweet, and generous to those around her. Or so it seems.
At work, she’s the popular girl who everyone likes and is always appealing because of her generosity. But once you start minding her business, or trying to uncover “truths” about her that she wants hidden, she gets violent.
She also gets aggressive, and dangerous, and will even murder someone if she has to and can get away with it.
In short, she’s a messed up character with a twisted sense of love that she adopted from growing up around the wrong influences.
14. Taiga Aisaka (Toradora)
Taiga is the feisty little character who’s older than she looks and gets violent towards men. This is explained from her backstory as to why she has a problem with men in general (which changes).
Of all the Toradora characters, Taiga is easily the most aggressive aside from Ami, the blue-haired girl at times.
15. Dimaria (Fairy Tail)
Dimaria is a proud, confident woman with talents most female characters in Fairy Tail can’t rival. She can summon the power of a God and become that being, allowing her complete control over time.
Even in her regular state, she can freeze other people’s time and kill them off without them even knowing it.
She’s aggressive, and strong, but has a bit of a complex and gets a kick out of making others suffer (which changes later on).
16. Revy Rebecca (Black Lagoon)
Revy grew up in the slums. She had it rough. She was even r*ped by Police officers and always had trouble with the corrupt law.
These experiences hardened her and made her a hard ass. A tough nut to crack.
She swears, can be vulgar, has a loud mouth, and will kill at the drop of a hat without thinking twice about her actions.
She works for Dutch as part of the Lagoon Company, which hijacks or smuggles drugs, people, and everything in between for money.
17. Kurumi Tokisaki (Date A Live)
Kurumi comes across as a nice, normal girl at first. But we soon realize she’s a Yandere and typically, Yandere’s have aggressive personalities when the situation fits.
She’s aggressive in getting what she wants, even if that means fighting or having to kill, and she’s aggressive towards those she loves most.
18. Yuno Gasai (Mirai Nikki)
Yuno Gasai is another Yandere with severe mental health issues, more so than most. And she’s aggressive to the point of scaring and terrifying Yuki Amano, her love interest.
It becomes a relationship built on Stockholm syndrome. Yuki puts up with Yuno, and they end up in a romantic relationship as he plays mental gymnastics to “cope”.
When your girlfriend will kill others for talking to you or will consider killing your mother if she says even ONE thing she considers out of line, you know you have an aggressive lunatic on your hands.
19. Seryu Ubiquitous (Akame Ga Kill)
Seryu is last on this list, and she’s one of the most hated anime characters of all time. And one of the female characters people hate for understandable reasons.
She’s responsible for killing character favourites, and she’s brainwashed to such a degree she no longer understands what justice means, or what “doing the right thing” means.
She thinks it means killing people who happen to steal something to survive or beheading the innocent because they failed to “stop” others stealing or doing petty crimes.
Seryu is not just aggressive, she’s beyond insane and is beyond saving.
