When you watch an Anime it’s always good to find a character you can relate to. When you can relate, Anime becomes more enjoyable.

In this example, as an introvert, Introverted Anime characters will be easier to relate to than extroverts.
Or even more interesting in some ways. Sometimes.
Let’s get to it.

Shakugan No Shana is the Anime Khamsin is featured in.

A man of few words, but is more empathetic than a lot of comparable characters.
6. Ryner Lute (The Legend Of Legendary Heroes)
Ryner appears to be extroverted at times, but in truth, he’s a great communicator. Which deceives you into believing he’s not an Introvert.
He loves to clown around a lot, sleep, nap and is one of the most laid-back Anime characters out there.
7. Gajeel Redfox (Fairy Tail)
One of the three first generation Dragon Slayers from
Gajeel is the type to chill by himself, kick back and relax. And loves to fight because of his upbringing and life experiences.
He’s the type of person who finds it hard to get too close to others, making it just as hard for others to warm to his personality.
A tough nut to crack just like his steel armour, which makes his personality and abilities ironic.
8. Zelgadis Graywords (Slayers)
From the old school series – Slayers!
Zelgadis is a logical thinker, laid back and serious a lot of the time.

He adds a surprising amount of humour to the anime given his personality.
11. Yukiteru Amano (Mirai Nikki)
Socially awkward, shy, nervous. Sometimes lacking in confidence. These words describe Yuki Amano from the Anime series – Future Diary.
In some ways, he’s the most introverted character on this list.
His character development throughout the series is one of the most surprising as well.
12. Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto)
Sasuke Uchiha, just like his brother Itachi Uchiha is an introvert. Internalizing his experiences and rarely ever sharing them with anyone else.
Not even Naruto.
Sasuke’s backstory is savage and is an example of a lonely kid who no one pays any attention to. Not even his own father.
That’s why Sasuke makes the effort to gain his father’s praise to get noticed.
In a typical introverted fashion, he keeps his distance and weighs people up. And it takes time to make Sasuke open up.

Naofumi Iwatani is the main star of the show in Shield Hero. And before long he’s the victim, branded as a criminal for a false rape allegation.
He was introverted already (he was an Otaku before the main story), but living life having to watch over his shoulders… Being judged as guilty before being proven innocent makes Naofumi “close off” his emotions.
He doesn’t trust anyone, and that’s why the relationship with Raphtalia, another main character makes this anime so special.
They fit like a glove.

Hachiman Hikigaya is a clear introvert. The type who doesn’t wanna be bothered unnecessarily. And would rather be left alone if it can be helped.
It’s not that he’s unable to socialize, it’s just he wants to socialize and make friends with genuine people he can trust.
He has no interest in fake relationships or putting on a fake smile to make peace.
Hachiman is one of the greatest Introverts I’ve come across in the anime industry.
15. Keitaro Gentoga (Dark Gathering)
Keitarois the type of guy who has clear social anxiety, lacks self confidence in some areas, and would rather not be forced into awkward social situations filled with tons of people.

He loves dessert.

The main villain of the MHA series besides One For All. Shigaraki has always been a threat with his quirk “Decay” and his childhood is a f*cked up highlight of MHA.
