Anime has it all when it comes to its villains, antagonists, and evil characters regardless of how far they take their “evil”.
You have:
- Hot anime villains.
- Cold anime villains (no pun intended).
- Ugly anime villains….
And of course – cute anime villains who are usually girls/women, but they can also be male characters as well.
Let’s focus on the “cute” portion of anime villains this time around.
Cute anime villains:
1. Toga Himiko (My Hero Academia)
Toga Himiko is an obvious and necessary choice when talking about cute anime villains. She’s a girl who’s popularity speaks for itself both inside and outside the MHA fanbase.
Not only is Toga Himiko a villain and one of many antagonists from The League Of Villains, but she’s also a Yandere which only adds to her overall appeal.
Her obsession with blood, Deku, Ochaco, and her quirk and mindset makes her a memorable female villain unlike many others.
2. Nova (Magic Knight Rayearth)
Nova from Magic Knight Rayearth doesn’t show up until later in the 2nd season. She’s a special case as far as why she shows up, how she shows up, her role, and what she means to the anime.
One thing that’s unquestionable though is her role as a villain in the 2nd season and how she plays into what comes next after her appearance.
She shares similarities with Hikaru Shidou (red hair) despite the fact Hikaru is the hero of the anime series and one of many.
3. Misaka Worst (A Certain Magical Index)
Misaka Worst is exactly as the name implies. She’s the “worst” version of Mikoto Misaka who’s a clone of the real thing. But her emotions have been made negative, bringing out the worst in how Misaka would be.
This is shown when she shows up in the 3rd season of A Certain Magical Index when she confronts and runs into Accelerator, who she’s sent to defeat.
The almost permanent savage facial expression she has made her likable of sorts, and she’s still “cute” like the original character.
4. Kyoko Jingu (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated)
Kyoko Jingu is the magical girl of this reverse Isekai series. After Jahy (2nd demon in command) has her world destroyed and is forced to live on earth, Kyoko also ends up on earth as well.
The truth is Kyoko is the one who destroyed the demon realm, making her the villain in this series in a backwards, strange kind of way.
This is also shown for the better part of the first half of the anime.
5. Pandemonium (The Executioner And Her Way Of Life)
Pandemonium is one of the most powerful characters of the entire series, and is so OP she’d make many Shounen characters look childish in comparison to her power.
She takes the appearance of a cute girl with black hair and white clothes and no socks. But her eyes show a bit of her craziness and insanity.
6. Kyubey (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica)
Kyubey is notorious for so many problems in the Madoka Magica series. He or she shows up in the first episode, but they’re properly introduced in the next few episodes of the anime.
Kyubey’s main goal is to convince the normal girls of the series who are hanging around with a magical girl… To become magical girls themselves
Restricting the truth and the important details like a true sleazy salesman or politician, the characters fall for it with ease.
Kyubey might look innocent but as a species, Kyubey sees humans as “less than” and comes across as patronizing.
7. Reisuke Houjou (Mirai Nikki)
Reisuke Houjou, also known as number 5 is one of the side characters of Mirai Nikki. And one of the villains who shows up later in the anime.
In this anime where everyone’s battling for survival, Reisuke appears to be a cute little child who’s innocent, pure, and is full of happiness without a care in the world… Like a supposedly normal child.
In reality, Reisuke (8) is a savage and a problem not long after he shows up despite his deceptive looks and actions.
8. Seryu Ubiquitous (Akame Ga Kill)
Seryu Ubiquitous will always be one of the most hated anime characters ever made, and one of the most savage villains ever made in anime.
She’s a “good girl” gone bad, a character who’s groomed by the wrong people and ends up with a twisted sense of justice and morality.
Working for the capital Seryu appears to be a hard working attractive girl who’s accommodating and friendly, but the underbelly is anything but that.
9. Satou Matsuzaka (Happy Sugar Life)
Satou Matsuzaka is the main character of this psychological/horror style series with twisted romance. Almost everyone in this anime is a villain with the few exceptions of wholesome characters who are victims.
As a girl who decides to adopt a child who’s been abandoned called Shio, Satou has to live a lie in the outside world and pretend to have a boyfriend at home when in fact it’s a child she’s fallen in love with.
She’s cute enough that most people just buy what she’s selling them until things start to shift.
10. Norn (Redo Of Healer)
Norn from Redo Of Healer is the younger sister of Flare, the main princess who causes problems for Keyaru (she gets him r*ped, drugged, etc).
Flare, Norn’s older sister is an absolute savage who’s detestable in every way possible. But Norn is even worse than her sister is, and she’s more calculating, strategic, and tactical about her savagery.
This is all hidden behind a cute face which is capable of fooling most people into thinking she’s innocent and kind.
11. Supreme Throne Hecate (Shakugan No Shana)
Supreme Throne Hecate, or Hecate is one of the most powerful members of the organization Bal Masque. A group of crimson denizens who are consistent villains in the Shakugan No Shana series.
Different to her members she’s not talkative or loud, she’s able to produce and create powerful magic, and she’s too stoic to show too much emotion.
She’s an obvious introvert and in a way has a similar demeanour to Shoto Todoroki from MHA.
12. Frenda (A Certain Scientific Railgun)
Frenda is the blonde-haired girl with a European-style hat in the Railgun series. She’s one of the characters who work in the underworld and will murder, steal, kill, or destroy if the money is right.
As a professional, she’s good at what she does under the leadership of her boss Mugino, who’s an adult woman who’s not one to joke around or be laid back.
Her relationship with Ruiko Saten is one of Frenda’s best highlights of the series.
13. Jack The Ripper (Fate Apocrypha)
Jack The Ripper has the appearance of a so-called cute Loli who seems innocent enough, and at one point in time, she was just like anyone else.
With a messed-up past and a twisted way of thinking, Jack The Ripper (as the name implies) is a sadistic character who feels nothing for her victims or targets.
An example of this is shown when she’s literally playing with a person’s heart (physically), not long before killing that person.
14. Inca (Fire Force)
Inca is the pink haired girl from Fire Force who has a rough upbringing and one relating to fire itself. She has friends who help her get through these tough times but everything goes south when she makes an appearance in the anime.
After the main villains of the series they call “the white clad” shows up, they recruit Inca and take advantage of her trauma and situation.
In the end, she becomes a villain and she does it in the coldest, most disloyal way possible.
15. Yuno Gasai (Mirai Nikki)
Yuno Gasai is the main character of her series and is also a villain just like Happy Sugar Life, and they both have pink hair as well.
Being the protagonist who’s obsessed with a boy called Yuki Amano, Yuno Gasai is officially one of the most insane Yandere’s ever written into an anime.
She was abused, verbally and physically, and mistreated to the point of being put inside a cage for so called “misbehaving”. This eventually leads to her mental issues and it’s what drives the story.

16. Malty Melromarc (The Rising Of The Shield Hero)
Malty Melromarc deserves all the hate a character can get, and her comparison to Amber Heard only makes her even more unlikable. Despite all this the fact is she’s “cute enough” to manipulate others at first.
Case in point is Naofumi Iwatani, a guy who’s new to this other world and all of a sudden has Malty seducing him and making him think she’s on his side. Which leads to the false r*pe accusation and the anime’s story.

17. Junko Enoshima (Danganronpa)
Junko is one of the cuter anime girls to come out of the Danganronpa series. She has pigtails, is attractive overall, and has an outgoing personality.
This is what draws people in. But she’s a villain in the franchise and a major one.
18. Doppelganger (A Certain Scientific Railgun)
Doppelganger is the final villain and antagonist of the 3rd season of Railgun. As the name implies she’s a copy of someone else as part of The Total Human Cyborg Replacement Project.
As a cyborg Doppelganger’s strength and resistance to damage makes The Terminator look weak in comparison. She’s even able to mess and control matter on some level as shown in her battles.
Similar to Hecate from Shakugan No Shana (same studio as Railgun), Doppelganger is stoic and hardly expresses any emotion.
