Gintama is known as one of the funniest anime shows with high ratings wherever you look.

And it does one of the best jobs of making a mockery of tropes, clichés, and even other anime all together to liven things up.

Despite it’s reputation, Gintama actually has a surprising amount of depth and meaning to its quotes, life lessons and characters. Most of which is hidden under the surface.
