Energetic anime characters, like people, are:
- Infectious.
- Magnetic.
- Attractive.
- Noticeable.
- Sometimes loud.
And sometimes, extroverted and charismatic by nature.
It’s these types of anime characters we’ll talk about in this post.
Here’s a list.
1. Leon (Fairy Tail)
Leon from Fairy Tail has always been the more energetic out of him and Gray Fullbuster, both of who grew up together learning ice magic.
Sometimes Leon can be stubborn and only sees things the way he wants to see it, and he’s obsessed with characters like Juvia Locker who is gorgeous in her own right, and even Juvia sees him as attractive despite being in love with Gray.
2. Kyou Fujibayashi (Clannad)
Kyou Fujibayashi was a Tsundere before Tsundere became so popular. She has purple hair, a fiery personality, is overly protective, and most of all, she’s straightforward and never minces her words.
At the heart of it all, she is a good person with morals and standards, but one who can come across as harsh or hitting you in the heart too often with her honesty.
3. Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto Franchise)
Naruto Uzumaki has all the energy in the world, even more than characters like Sasuke who despite being introverted, can match Naruto when it comes down to it.
Naruto has always wanted attention and so he was the kid who did things to get attention, regardless of how stupid, crazy, or insensitive it appeared to be.
Being a child who grew up with a demon living inside him, and being shunned because of it, his hardships shape him but he never loses his charisma and energy.
4. Goku (Dragon Ball Z)
Goku is a ball of energy. He’s always chipper, upbeat, happy, or simply laid back and not often miserable or upset. In a way, he’s a simple man who lives his life simply.
One thing that fans love about Goku is his inspirational aspects when it comes to hard work, dedication, personal development, and success.
Goku is a driven man who always strives for more.
5. Sotoka Rakita (Hitoribocchi)
Sotoka is the weeb of the series. The Otaku Western girl comes to Japan with high expectations of certain things, only to be somewhat disappointed.
She loves shurikens, stereotypically, but in general, is an energetic, lively, and magnetic character with lots of positive energy.
She follows the lead of Hitori, who she sees as her “master”.
6. Mitsuri Kanroji (Demon Slayer)
Mitsuri has a lot of energy and hype, and when paired with her airheaded ways and clumsy personality, it makes for an entertaining female character.
Plus Mitsuri is one of the hottest demon slayer female characters around, so that helps.
She brings a lot of energy to the swordsmith arc and it wouldn’t have been the same without her.
7. Koma Sakuraba (Otaku Elf)
Koma is the best friend of Koito in Otaku Elf. They grew up together, but their personalities are a bit different despite their meshing with each other.
Unlike Koito, Koma has more self awareness when it comes to fashion, and what will work for her or other people, and she doesn’t hesitate to share her honest opinion without it stinging.
Koma plays a supporting role in the anime and only shows up in various but few scenes relatively speaking.
8. Rebecca Reed (Shakugan No Shana)
Rebecca Reed is the scatterer of sparkling light, and the flame haze contracted to Balar, a powerful crimson lord.
She wears his power as a bracelet on her arm, which has the ability to incinerate and vaporise her opponents.
As a flame haze, Rebecca doesn’t give a shit about rules or protocol. She follows her own lead, bops to her own beat, and is a carefree character who can’t be controlled whatsoever.
That means she’s also a rebel but one with a cause and tons of energy.
9. Ai Hoshino (Oshi No Ko)
Ai Hoshino has to have a lot of energy since she is an idol after all. It’s required for the job.
She lives a double life somewhat before things get tragic. On one hand, she’s an idol many adore, and on the other hand, she feels like she has to lie and deceive just to save face.
This creates inner conflict, and this all changes somewhat after having children.

10. Revy Rebecca (Black Lagoon)
Revy Rebecca has a lot of energy for different reasons. She’s a professional killer when it comes down to it, a smuggler, and a gangster who works as part of the Lagoon company run by Dutch, a Black character.
The anime’s energy, scenes, action, and intensity comes mostly from characters like Revy Rebecca, and she’s an important figure in the anime’s story and is one of the main characters at the forefront.
11. Kita Ikuyo (Bocchi The Rock)
Kita is one of the more energetic characters in Bocchi’s The Rock, and one who helps the introvert of the show Bocchi open up a little more.
She’s always smiling, happy, cheerful, and has this energy about her that draws others to her and makes people want to be around her.
Kita’s kindness is also a plus point on top of everything else.
12. Shouko Hida (Happy Sugar Life)
Shouko is one of the supporting characters of the show, and the best friend of Satou in this horror/romance type of anime series with messed up psychological elements.
As a friend, she’s loyal for life, and would never think of betraying anyone. She’s too nice for her own good and would make a perfect partner for anyone deserving of her character.
13. Ritsu Tainaka (K-On)
Ritsu is the partner in crime of Yui Hirasawa, who is also an extrovert on top of a very energetic character.
Tainaka’s role in the anime is playing drums in their music group “after school tea time”, which was an obvious influence on anime shows like Bocchi The Rock.
She likes to tease Miyo Akiyama a lot, an introvert who is easily scared.
14. Gojo Satoru (Jujutsu Kaisen)
Gojo is the guy everyone loves, the typical shounen protagonist with lots of energy, and likeability, is a rebel, and is always smiling and uplifting everyone else.
It’s no surprise people love his character.
Underneath his cheery persona is a darker aspect to Gojo, and he’s powerful enough that as season 2 showed, they found a way to seal him because he was that much of a threat.
15. Eruca Crawford (I’m Giving The Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued A Crash Course In Naughtiness)
Eruca Crawford is the younger sister of Allen Crawford, though Allen is adopted into the family from young because of his situation. Allen is also the protagonist.
In the anime, it always seems like Eruca is plotting something, but it is with the best intentions as she’s trying ti pair up Allen with Charlotte Evans since it’s obvious they both like each other but won’t come out and say it straight.
Eruca has her own style and personality and might be one of the most likeable sisters in anime so far.
16.Yumechi (Akiba Maid War)
Yumechi is the perfect Idol and probably nails the job better than any other maid in the Akiba Maid War series.
She’s cute, has that idol charm, is on point, and clearly is good at what she does (maid or idol). But in all seriousness, Yumechi is also ready to pull the trigger to defend herself, her organisation, and her friends during turf wars between maids.
She’s got a lot more guts than her appearance would have people believe.
17. Leone (Akame Ga Kill)
Leone is a fun female character from Akame Ga Kill who will remind you of women in real life who are upbeat, jolly, energetic, and attractive by their energy alone.
Of course, Loene is an assassin, but she has a big heart and cares deeply when it comes to issues women face in the corrupt capital.
She’s one of the favourites among Akame Ga Kill fans.
18. Bakugo Katsuki (My Hero Academia)
Bakugo Katsuki has a lot of energy and he usually uses it for the wrong reasons, or in the wrong ways.
He’s aggressive, can be hardheaded, stubborn, foolish, too emotional, impulsive, and even selfish. Always thinking only of himself but this changes over time through character development and personal development.
Bakugo is ambitious, and this is one of his defining and best characteristics.
19. Natsu Dragneel (Fairy Tail)
Natsu is an adult who will never lose their inner child. He has childish ways, but that makes him upbeat, cheery, and chill to be around. You always know life is gonna be good on a day when Natsu is around.
He is only known for being aggressive when it comes to friends, family, those he cares for, and even strangers who are being bullied or harmed by people with bad intentions.
It’s hard to dislike a character like Natsu.
20. Lina Inverse (Slayers)
Lina Inverse is one of the greatest mages of all time in the anime industry. She’s capable of destroying the universe with one of her spells, and all her variety of spells are dangerous and powerful in their own right.
Her attitude is that of a woman who likes to travel, have adventurers, do her own thing, and live by her own rules, but would love to be joined by a man she can fall for (which she does).
Slayers is a parody, so even Lina has characteristics that aren’t to be taken too seriously.
21. Sasha Bordeaux (S-Rank Musume)
Sasha is one of the sisters of the Bordeaux family in S Rank Musume. She’s moral, ethical, takes things very seriously, and is a woman with tons of energy.
This isn’t unlike the oldest sister.
As the middle sister, Sasha has probably the most guts and confidence in her abilities, and she even has the skills to back it up with tons of potential in the realm of fighting and swordsmanship.
22. Emilico (Shadows House)
Emilico is a fluffy ball of energy that’s full of light. She can light up an entire room not by walking in it, but by talking, having conversations, and being friendly with everyone she meets.
Curiosity might be her biggest strength. She’s always curious and this leads to her being a bit of a rebel who does things she’s not “supposed \” to do, but does anyway. Usually for a higher purpose.
She’s the type of person who’s a friend for life and is deeply empathetic.
