It’s now February 2nd 2024, and it’s time for another edition of top countries who love anime the most.
I started this in 2016 so I’ve been doing this a while.
This 2024 edition will surprise many like it always does, while some countries on the list won’t surprise anyone since they’re always included.
As usual, Google Trends will be used to extract data since it’s:
- Reliable.
- Helpful.
- Useful.
And most of all, it comes from an enormous data set making it realistic.
Let’s get started.
Data will be updated throughout the year to reflect changes.

UPDATED list in real-time 2024:
What this list tells you is a few things:
- Jamaica, though a small Island, is starting to rise for their love of anime.
- Many of the countries are South American (Latin) countries.
- The dominant countries are East Asia.
- And a few surprising ones come from Georgia, Bangladesh, etc.
In 2016 this was never the case for places like Jamaica or Georgia, but it shows how time can change things and how anime has obviously grown over the years to reach this point.
As well as reach more people all over the world.
