Danmachi, also known as Is It Wrong To Pick Up
It’s a mouthful of a name, but when talking about the anime’s:
- Female characters.
- Women.
- Elves.
And so on, there is no denying the
That’s with respect to all shapes and sizes thanks to its author and the designers who don’t “stick” to only cliche female
Let’s talk about it.
Hottest Danmachi girls (non-ranking order):
1. Haruhime Sanjouno
Haruhime may be one of the
She’s first seen in the 2nd season of Danmachi, and it’s during the arc where Bell Cranel is in the red light district.
Haruhime is one of the “prostitutes” there, forced to work there against her will in exchange for being in relatively better circumstances, but she never had a choice really.
It was this character and this arc that made season 2 one of the best in the Danmachi series for me because of the depth and how meaningful it was.
2. Goddess Hestia
Goddess Hestia is one of the lowest-ranking gods in the series, at least in the beginning. She has no real magical power to speak of, she has less wealth compared to others, and her Familia is initially weak.
Bell becoming stronger and forming a party is what changes things, along with Hestia’s encouragement of course.
While her clothing isn’t the most “respectable” of the Gods in Danmachi, she does have a heart of gold and is one of the most attractive female characters in Danmachi as a whole.
3. Freya
Freya is a powerful goddess in the Danmachi series, not just in magical power, but with status and prestige as well.
She has more authority over things and events taking place out in the world.
She has a special interest in Bell Cranel, which was seen during the time she showed her face and played a role in the outcomes of that arc in Danmachi.
Clearly, she’s a more sexually appealing female character In Danmachi and her attitude, personality, and status only makes her beauty even more of a weapon and magnet.
4. Syr Flova
Syr Flova is a waitress in the anime series at the inn. She’s one of the women that Bell becomes familiar with on his travels and when he’s in the town from season 1 onwards.
She likes teasing others, like Bell but doesn’t enjoy being teased by others and ends up blushing and being shy about it.
Syr is actually a persona created by Freya herself, which is part of her trolling.
5. Ais Wallenstein
Ais Wallenstein is known as the “sword princess” and is part of the Loki Familia, one of the most powerful in the series who is respected by many adventurers.
With Ais being one of their strongest members, there aren’t too many situations where she’d lose easily.
She’s immune to poison and is able to poison others with one of her abilities. Similar to Akame from Akame Ga Kill.
Ais is obviously a stunning character from the franchise but she’s a bit dense, unaware, and isn’t experienced when it comes to things like romance.
Though she’s also indifferent and hard to read.
6. Alise Lovell
Alise was the friend of Ryu and was the captain of the Astraea Familia before a tragic event took place in the dungeons.
She’s confident, proud, clearly a good leader, and knows how to push forward even through the most difficult challenges without hesitating.
She’s motivating for those around her and many looked up to her in the guild.
Alise is also, kind of like how Ryu becomes later, a very straightforward and honest person.
7. Ryuu Lion
Ryuu Lion used to be part of the Astraea Familia. Now a lone wolf, literally, she travels by herself, does things by herself, and also works at the inn from time to time with other characters like Syr Flova.
This is how she meets Bell Cranel.
As an adventurer, she’s fierce, powerful, has a lot of versatility, and of course, tons of grit because of her harsh past and tragic experiences.
Still, she suffers from trauma and that much is clear by the amount of people she doesn’t trust, and how hard it is to make her open up.
As of season 4, she has a stronger bond with Bell Cranel and is a lot more confident in letting out her feelings.
8. Cassandra Ilion
Cassandra is one of the female characters in the anime who is not only attractive but unfortunately, lacks self confidence and has poor self esteem.
She’s an introvert who doesn’t speak her mind enough and tends to hold back, usually because she feels like nobody will take her seriously anyway.
With the ability to see into the future and receive premonitions, she’s predicted outcomes that have always played out in one way or another, but until season 4, she’s not taken seriously even by her own friend but others believe in her.
This shapes her confidence and she starts to come out of her shell a little bit.
She’s strong when she tries.
9. Aisha Belka
Aisha Belka might be the
Brown skin, an Amazon woman, strong as F, and very agile when fighting with her sword. She can be put into the “badass” female characters category along with characters like Ryuu or even Erza from
Aisha is straightforward and honest, and always holds others accountable and is also the type of character who can lead others.
10. Ishtar
Ishtar was the leader of the Ishtar Familia before things went south during the 2nd season of the anime.
She’s stunning,
Compared to Aisha though, her character is lacking. She was also arrogant and too far up her own ass.
11. Daphne Lauros
Daphne is the red-haired female character who’s attractive in her own right, but she’s also a female character in Danmachi who’s hard to like.
In the beginning, she comes across as unlikeable because of the way she dismisses her friend’s comments, Cassandra. Especially when it comes to Cassandra’s premonitions which she at first believes is nonsense.
Over time Daphine starts to fall out of that habit somewhat, but she has a stubbornness about her that makes her appear to be something she’s not deep down.
12. Hiryute Sisters (Tiona And Tione)
Tione is on the right, and Tiona is on the left. Tione on the right makes the other slightly insecure (not on purpose) due to oppai.
Both are Amazon fighters from Danmachi who you see more in the early seasons like season 1 and season 2, as well as the spin-off version focusing on Ais Wallenstein.
Tione is the more energetic one, but regardless, both look
13. Mikoto Yamato
Mikoto Yamato is one of the female swordswomen of the series, and clearly one of the more attractive, stylish, and capable warriors in combat.
A trait this anime is known for with its other Amazon fighters.
Mikoto isn’t arrogant and doesn’t get too ahead of herself, but she is confident in her abilities, in herself, and has high moral standards similar to a character like Satsuki Kiryuin.
