Coronavirus’s Latest Victim: Violet Evergarden The Movie Is Now Delayed

Violet Evergarden has gone through so many delays since Kyoto Animation’s tragic fire in July 2019.

Now thanks to the #coronavirus in 2020, Violet Evergarden: The Movie is delayed.

The original air date was supposed to be April 24th 2020.

As shown by their latest tweets and their official website:

“Thank you for your support of the Violet Evergarden series.

This time, regarding the movie “ Violet Evergarden ” which was scheduled to be released from April 24, 2020 (Friday), the main part of the movie has already been completed and we are working towards the release, Following the announcement by the Government of Japan following the spread of the new coronavirus infectious disease in Japan, after careful consideration, it was decided to postpone the release date.

We sincerely apologize to all those who have been looking forward to the release of the work.

The new release date will be announced on the official website of “Violet Evergarden the Movie” and the official SNS as soon as it is decided.”
