Upcoming Ecchi Anime To Look Out For In 2025:
1. Ubel Blatt
Ubel Blatt will be released on January 11th 2025. Studios such as Satelight and Staple Entertainment are behind it.
STORY:
Rumors swirl about Köinzell, who wields a deadly black sword with mysterious skill, pursued by the Traitorous Lances in a grand fantasy tale.
This anime will mix adventure, ECCHI, and fantasy together with action.
2. S-Rank Monster no “Behemoth” dakedo
Studios ZERO-G and Saber Works are behind this Seinen anime with ecchi elements (and a ridiculously long title).
It will be released sometime in January 2025.
Story:
After dying in battle against forces of evil, a knight reincarnates not as a hero but as a powerful behemoth monster. The surprising exception is he appears as a cute house cat! Saved by a beautiful elf adventurer, his journey as a bewildered house-cat-turned-knight begins.
3. Around 40 Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan
East Fish Studio, a relatively new company is the one working on this series.
The release date for this ecchi anime is unconfirmed but will be in January 2025.
It’s a harem/Isekai series in the Shounen demographic with ecchi mixed in.
The main premise of this anime in a nutshell:
Kenichi, a middle-aged man, is transported to another world and uses his ability to access an online store to create a successful business, aiming for a leisurely life instead of expanding his empire.
4. Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san
The studio behind Please Put Them On Takamimi San (English) is LINENFILMS. The same studio as Rokudenashi.
The release date is set for April 2025. Like its manga counterpart, this anime has ecchi and fanservice in a romance/school setting.
Highlights:
- Takane Takamine excels in academics, sports, and leadership, becoming student council president in her first year of high school.
- She possesses the ability “Eternal Virgin Road,” which lets her redo actions to achieve better outcomes.
- Takamine’s magnetic personality makes her the envy of others, blending her talents with a mysterious power.
Ridiculous and sometimes wholesome moments are to be expected here, like the manga.
5. Mato Seihei no Slave 2nd Season
Passione is the studio behind the 2nd season of Chained Soldier. The studio has made anime like Mieuruko Chan, Cittrus, among others.
There is no official release date yet (other than the year 2025) so watch this space.
Quick highlights for Chained Soldier:
- Yuuki Wakura faces uncertainty about his future as he nears the end of his school days.
- He unexpectedly discovers Mato, an alternate dimension plagued by dangerous monsters known as Shuuki.
- Incidents of people unintentionally entering Mato have increased since its existence was confirmed years ago.
The first season of Chained Soldier was released in January 2024, and the studio was Seven Arcs.
6. Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari 2nd Season
Staple Entertainment is the studio behind the 2nd season of Tales Of Wedding Rings. It’s a harem, isekai with ecchi and fanservice of course.
No official release date has been announced yet (TBC).
Quick highlights for Tales Of Wedding Rings:
- Princess Krystal Novaty “Hime” Nokanatika escapes assassination in her world.
- She meets Haruto Satou in modern-day Japan and they promise to be friends.
- Hime returns to the Nokanatika Kingdom for her royal duties, bidding farewell to Haruto.
The first season of Tales Of Wedding Rings was released in January 2024 and was also made by the same studio as the upcoming 2nd season.
7. Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete 2nd Season
The 2nd season of Gushing Over Magical Girls (English) is being produced by Kadokawa. The studio is unknown at the moment.
It was originally adapted from a web novel and has lots of nudity, ecchi, and blatant fan service, and it is unapologetic about it, too.
The first season proved that.
Story:
- Three magical girls named Tres Magia to safeguard Utena Hiiragi’s town.
- Utena (the main character) admires these heroes for their dedication to justice.
- A mysterious black mascot offers Utena the chance to become a magical girl herself.
8. Kakushite! Makina-san!!
Kakushite! is a school anime series adapted from a manga, released in 2025 but with no official day or month (TBC).
Within a school setting is fan service, ecchi, and even sci-fi, giving it a unique mix for the upcoming new year.
The studio is also unconfirmed at the moment.
Quick highlights for Kakushite!:
- Makina Agatsuma, a school idol, moves in with Eita Akutsu, an introverted mechanical otaku.
- Eita harbours secret feelings for Makina and believes his luck has turned.
- Makina reveals she’s actually a robot designed for sexual purposes.
- Eita, a virgin, is caught off guard by Makina’s unexpected advances and is unsure how to respond.
9. New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
As was the case with the original Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt, studio TRIGGER is behind the anime.
The studio is known for Kill La Kill, and Little Witch Academia, among others.
The 2nd season of Panty and Stocking will be released in 2025 but with no official month or date as of November 2024.
Quick highlights for Panty And Stocking With Garter Belt:
- Panty and Stocking, known as the “Anarchy Sisters,” are expelled from Heaven due to their misbehaviour.
- Guided by the priest Garterbelt, they must earn their way back by hunting ghosts in Daten City.
- They use their lingerie, transformed into weapons, in unconventional ways to defeat the spirits and fulfil their mission.
The 2nd season will continue from where the first season left off.
For NEW fans of this series, expect ridiculous amounts of GAG comedy and humour, and parody-like storytelling that will make you laugh your ass off.
It’s one of the best ecchi anime out there.
10. Magical★Explorer
The full title for this anime is Magical Explorer: Reborn as a Side Character in a Fantasy Dating Sim.
Adapted from a light novel, the anime has no official studio or producers as of November 2024 and is an adventure harem series with ecchi content.
The story:
Reincarnated as a character in the erotic game “Magical Explorer.” The main character is designated as the unlucky side-character, not the game’s lady-killer protagonist.
