For the first time ever, “hentai” was the most searched term in the USA, taking the top spot from “lesbian,” which reigned supreme in 2023, 2022, 2019, and 2017.”

Another year, another WIN from hentai in the most famous search terms of 2024. This is important because of the fact that pornhub isn’t dedicated to anime or hentai in the first place.

It’s dedicated to porn in general, which makes hentai’s dominance even more relevant, and even the term “anime” is in 7th place by itself.
