Is it fair when you let’s say, have a past involved in a certain activity you did out of desperation?

Mainly because you needed the money and the financial backing, only to later be JUDGED for that same thing out of the blue?

This kind of thing happens all of the time. Sometimes it may or may not be justified, and sometimes it is related to things other than porn or “onlyfans”.

In this story, a Japanese man who is a firefighter is somehow discovered by some unknown person.

By discovered we mean they recognized the man from the porn film he starred in and essentially snitched on this person which is how this all came to be.

Does his affiliation with porn really matter?

250,000 Yen ($1600 dollars)

MONEY ANIME

The firefighting man in question earned 250,000 yen for his five roles in various porn production films.

Again, he needed the money and so he did what he felt he had to do.

QUOTE:

“According to the Koshigaya City Fire Department, in early April, an anonymous complaint was received via the inquiry form on the city’s website stating that “a staff member may be appearing in an adult video.”

When we interviewed him, he explained that he had participated in five photo shoots in Osaka and other places since December 2022 and received compensation of approximately 250,000 yen, so we suspended him from his job for six months as of the 22nd.

He said that he was participating in the filming on his day off from work, and explained his motive as “I had a car loan and was struggling with money.”

He also said when apologising:

“As a public servant, I sincerely apologize for my actions that have seriously damaged the trust of residents.”

Each country plays by different rules

Even if those rules are social rules.

I can’t imagine condemning a firefighter of all people who are doing one of the most important jobs in the world just because of their past, which in this case isn’t even “bad” by any stretch of the mind.

But each country has its own, we’ll say, politics. And in Japan, this is how they deal with things so that’s to be expected.
