The Greatest Harem Anime Waifu's Of All Time That Will Impress (2)

The term HAREM is historically Arabic. And while the idea of having a harem isn’t as prevalent in the 21st century, it still exists in certain societies.

Harem anime borrows from this idea and makes the female characters in this genre:

  • Sexy.
  • Hot.
  • Attractive.
  • Wife-like.
  • Desirable.
  • Feminine.

And with qualities that make them idealistic in some cases.

Here’s a list of those harem anime waifus.

Best harem anime waifus of all time:

1. Kosaki Onodera (Nisekoi)

Kosaki Onodera is one of the main female characters in the Nisekoi series and one who shows up from the beginning of the anime pretty much.

She’s an introverted girl and the childhood friend of Raku Ichijou, but she never had the courage to confess her feelings for him; instead, she showed them in subtle ways.

Nisekoi isn’t your typical harem and that is why the characters are of a higher quality in general compared to your typical harem anime shows.

2. Nino Nakano (Quintessential Quintuplets)

Nino Nakano from Quintessential Quintuplets is a controversial character in small parts of the series, considering what she does out of pettiness.

She’s the Tsundere of the show, and the one who is more stubborn about her feelings towards Uesugi, the MC, and is one of the more insecure sisters out of 5.

Prideful, stubborn, a bit naive, but fully devoted, committed, and loyal to the fullest. One of the 5 harem waifus of the series.

3. Chizuru Mizuhara (Rent A Girlfriend)

Chizuru Mizuhara from Rent A Girlfriend is the main female character of the series and one who is prevalent from the first season onwards.

Kazuya rents her as a girlfriend online after his split with Mami, and she has become a relevant character and person in his life ever since.

Classy, professional, etiquette, stylish, and most of all, have tons of self respect. Chizuru is the reason the anime and the manga are even liked in the first place.

Her sheer qualities are what make her and the anime stand out in the smaller scheme of things.

4. Kurumi Tokisaki (Date A Live)

Kurumi Tokisaki is the Yandere everyone knows and loves from Date A Live, an anime franchise with over 5 seasons and tons of light novel content.

It’s one of the most popular and best selling light novels.

Kurumi is sadistic in nature, but she can also be calm, cunning, forward thinking, and is the kind of person who can see things for what they are without getting caught up in the emotional side of it.

Her dress style is iconic.

5. Megumi Kato (Saekano)

Megumi is what the anime is about when it says “how to describe a boring girlfriend” or Saekano in Japanese.

She’s so called plain, boring, not at all cliche, and doesn’t match a stereotype. But this is also what ends up making her attractive to the main character of the series.

For a harem, the writing is better on average and the characters like Megumi are more fleshed out than usual.

6. Aki Adagaki (Masamune Kun No Revenge)

Aki Adagaki is the menace of the series. She acts this way in the first season and it becomes clear to everyone that she isn’t to be messed with and has a bad attitude.

Of course, over time, especially in the 2nd season when more plot twists are revealed and more plot holes are filled, things shift but within context.

She’s the type of person who shuts off her feelings if hurt and can jump to conclusions.

7. Setsuna (Redo Of Healer)

Setsuna is the wolf girl from a wolf tribe, a tribe that was murdered, slaughtered, enslaved, and abused by the kingdom of Jioral despite Jioral’s public image being anything of the sort.

For this, Setsuna wants revenge and with the help of Keyaru who also wants revenge against the kingdom, they both play their part in killing many of the tribes’ oppressors.

Setsuna is also one of the female harem partners of Keyaru in the series.

8. Yae Kokonoe (In Another World With My Smartphone)

Yae is the samurai girl at the beginning of the anime series and technically becomes the first pre-wife of the main character Touya.

Yae is well dressed, has a set of standards, and is ultimately different to the other girls who eventually show up in the anime in some noticeable ways.

9. Erica Blandelli (Campione)

Erica Blandelli is a blonde female protagonist along with the main male protagonist of the series. She is also the one to show up in the first episode of this harem anime.

She, in a cliche fashion, kisses the main male character after her “discovery”, and he gains power as a result which essentially ties them together for the series.

But she’s not the only woman in “his” circle.

10. Nagisa Minase (Girlfriend, Girlfriend)

Nagisa Minase is the introvert of the group in an anime where polygamy is actually common, normal, and is promoted legitimately.

The main male character wants to try having more than one girlfriend and even proposes the idea to a small group of girls he likes, which then spreads, and more of them know about it.

And this leads to the anime’s premise.

11. Myucel Foaran (Outbreak Company)

Myucel Foaran is a shy girl from the Outbreak Company series and is also an elf in another world that the MC finds himself in.

He ends up importing Japanese culture into this world with the help of characters like Myucel, who is also a part of the anime’s harem.

Myucel can be compared to someone like Priestess from Goblin Slayer.

12. Uruka Takemoto (We Never Learn)

Uruka Takemoto is another shy waifu type from the We Never Learn Anime series. She’s also one of the girls who, in the words of others, is “too innocent” and pure compared to others.

This is reflected in her personality and her genuine intentions as a person and character.

The anime and the characters contrast with Quintessential Quintuplets.

13. Utaha Kasumigaoka (How To Raise A Boring Girlfriend)

Utaha Kasumigaoka is the author of best selling books and sells a lot of copies in the 100s of thousands. This solidifies her role and success as an author.

This is what she uses to fund her lifestyle, pay the bills, and basically live life with an income despite not being at the age of 20 yet.

She’s introverted, inquisitive, observant, but daring in the game of romance.

14. Oda Nobuna (Oda Nobuna)

Oda Nobuna is a soldier and samurai based on the original samurai in Japanese legend, Oda Nobunaga.

The character is made female and blonde, and Nobunaga’s original soldiers are also turned female (like Mitsuhide).

Like in history, Nobuna’s goal is to reunite Japan and it’s shown in a colorful way, despite the odd scenes of necessary violence or blood.

15. Akeno (High School DxD)

Akeno is the famous waifu from High School DxD and the one who is always mentioned in various memes surrounding “Ara Ara”.

This, along with her role in the series as one of the many harem girls interested in Issei is what makes her popular and relevant.

16. Nagi Sanzenin (Hayate The Combat Butler)

Nagi Sanzenin is the main female character of this old school anime series, released in the 2000s.

Nagi is rich and lives in a mansion, but in her own words (paraphrasing), it doesn’t matter since if she could bring back her mother to life, she’d do that over the money.

She’s one of the 4 Tsundere Wonders, a group of Tusnderes who started the trend that became so popular after the 2000s era.

17. Tania (Beast Tamer)

Tania is a proud dragon with red hair from the Beast Tamer series. She’s confident, wags her tail when happy, can be a bit stubborn, and is of course proud of her looks and beauty.

Just not in an arrogant sense.

After the series has ended, it’s clear people love Tania the most out of all the beast girls with the reception of Akane as far as waifu material and likeability.

18. Neko Fujinomiya (Masamune Kun No Revenge)

Neko Fujinoiya is also from Masamune Kun No Revenge like Aki. She is a supporting character who shows up in the middle of season 1.

She claims she knows Masamune, the main character, which shocks him to his core and pisses off Aki, a girl he’s in the middle of having a squabble with of sorts.

Neko doesn’t hesitate to show her affection and feelings for Masamune but is rejected ultimately.

19. Aoi Sakuraba (Ai Yori Aoshi)

Aoi Sakuraba is the purple haired kimono wearing female character of the series. Generous, gentle, kind, sweet, feminine, and maybe too soft for her own good.

She’s harmless but a strong and very likeable person. This is shown between her and the main character as far as their relationship goes.

But it’s true that this anime also does have harem elements and therefore, harem girls fighting for the MC’s attention.
