No Guns Life is an anime series adapted by Madhouse studios. The legendary studio behind:
- One Punch Man.
- Death Note.
- Black Lagoon.
And so many other known anime shows.
It started back in 2014 as a manga, and was adapted back in 2019.
Airing from July 10th 2020, the anime is about Juzo Inui. A man who’s called an “extended”. A phrase for humans who’ve been engineered mechanically after a war that ended prior to the story.
He makes a living resolving problems caused by the extended in the city.
The new season starts off with a chilling scene from a new extended, and the man he dismembers.
This anime gets violent when it needs to.
After a comical scene with Juzo, the MC and the kids, the first episode centers around some data Juzo has, and a terrorist group who’s after this valuable data.
Following up from episode 1 you et a continuation in episode 2. This where you get some action and fight scenes that can always be appreciated for its quality.
You’ll know this from season 1 if you’ve watched from the beginning.
The main theme running through episode 2 is the terrorist organization: Spitsbergen, and mentions of Behruen from the first season.
Juzo and Mary, mainly Juzo, are trying to get to the bottom of a particular character’s involvement with Spitsbergen because of the personal connection between them.
What you can expect:
- A continuation of the underworld of extendeds and terrorists.
- A lot of mystery and fact finding.
- Action between the extendeds.
And more reveals of Juzo and Mary’s pasts, and how they connect to the main plot.
Whatever the anime is leading up to is gonna one to possibly watch out for this season.
I look forward to it.
Give it a try if you’re into Fullmetal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic or Gangsta.
