Fairy Tail. Meaning he acts, fights, and has the power to wield and breathe fire like a dragon.
Natsu is the kind of character who’s simple, enjoys the company of friends, and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect them.
If anybody crosses the line of hurting his friends, Natsu is the kinda guy who won’t tolerate it. Because at the heart of who he is, he’s peaceful, loving, and wants nothing but the best for others.
With that being said, let’s dive into this post…
Natsu Dragneel Life Lessons:
1. Never give up without a fight
“If you think of giving up, think of the reason why you held on so long.” – Natsu Dragneel
Throughout Fairy Tail, Natsu came across enemies who were even stronger than he is. And yet, he didn’t let that fact stop him from trying to win.
In the eyes of a normal person, Natsu is crazy. But from Natsu‘s point of view, he’s too determined and committed to give up and throw in the towel.
Especially when there’s a chance, even if a small chance, that he CAN succeed.
And funny enough Natsu 9/10 defeats the enemies who were naturally stronger than him.
The lesson? Never give up on yourself. It’s not over until it’s over.
2. Always stand up for your friends
Like I mentioned in the beginning, Natsu cares a lot for his friends. In this way he’s similar to Goku from DBZ, because he’s willing to fight for the sake of those he cares for.
Even if the odds are against Natsu, and even If standing up for his friends may put him in danger… It doesn’t matter.
Natsu has standards and morals he lives by, and that’s what fans can learn from him.
3. Rise above your challenges
Most people if faced with a challenge will break under the pressure. But Natsu is the kind of guy who see’s a challenge and says – “I’m all fired up now”. And then does his best to overcome those challenges.
This is the reason Natsu Dragneel continues to become stronger throughout the Fairy Tail series.
4. Know when it’s time to give up
When the Fairy Tail guild was running an S class warrior trial on Tenrou Island, Natsu ended up running into Gildarts. An extremely powerful Mage from Fairy Tail who Natsu admires.
At one point Gildarts starts powering up, showing Natsu just how strong he really is. And how much he’s been holding back.
After realizing what he was up against, Natsu gave up on the spot and decided this was a battle he had no chance of winning.
The lesson here is to know when it’s time to give up on something.
Giving up doesn’t make you weak, it proves you’re strong because you’re aware of what you can and can’t do at the moment.
