If you never thought anime controversy and reasons for it to be banned couldn’t get more:
- Ridiculous
- Ignorant.
and outright pretentious, you were wrong.
A Florida Middle School, specifically called Gifford Middle School has gone on a banning spree of various materials to “protect” their children from reading certain things.
One of those items was Assassination Classroom, a
Also, he threatens to “destroy the moon” and more if they don’t successfully kill him.
This comedy series has now been taken out of full context by the ultra-sensitive Western teachers yet again for reasons that can only be called pompous.
QUOTE:
“We don’t want students to think it’s OK to kill their teachers.” – Jennifer Pippin
This is the direct quote from Jennifer Pippin, a woman behind the Moms for Liberty Indian River County chapter.
In their own words from the website:

Deliberately taken out of context and patronizing

- They and she assume kids are so f*cking stupid that they’ll watch Assassination Classroom and actually do it in real life.
- They believe this could “increase school shootings” and this is one of the reasons for banning the material. Deeming the
manga inappropriate. - They assume their school kids don’t understand the difference between fiction and reality.
- The fact that they don’t have the conversation, but instead outright ban something “on behalf” of the students is blatantly self-righteous and disingenuous given the context.
There is no history, data, facts, or statistics that would point to someone watching an anime like this, and going out there and committing the act.
If that were true:
- Death Note.
- Akame Ga Kill.
- Naruto.
- MHA.
- DBZ.
And much other
Of course, that’s a fantasy. And apparently, this is the kind of thing pompous teachers and schools like this conjure up in their own minds, and use “kids” as a scapegoat to justify the action of censorship.
