In Another World With My Smartphone is an anime series that was released way back in July 2017. That means 6+ years have passed since then.
No one thought it would get a 2nd season, but here it is in the flesh.
The plot revolves around Mochizuki Touya, a reincarnated guy who gains OP powers and even gets the direct phone number for GOD himself. Should he ever need to bell him.
Unsurprisingly Touya builds up his own Harem, slowly but surely, and season 2 takes place after those events.
Here’s a list of anime shows that are like In Another World With My Smartphone.

Fuutarou is the main male character who dins himself in a job where he has to help 5 twins graduate, essentially. The father of these twins who pays Fuutarou is rich.
Fuutrarou is smart, educated, and hard-working. And he has one hell of a back story to go with it (along with the
For an anime to focus on so many sisters and make them stand out is nothing short of real skill.

The anime focuses on the slime guy, Rimuru Tempest, who morphs into a human-like character after growing so rapidly in the early stages from an actual slime.
You do get Harem-ish vibes in this anime, but it’s not that kind of anime. The main points in this series are about building countries, uniting people who have been previously fighting, and as a result – politics.
The world-building aspect is well done.
3. I’ve Been Killing Slimes For 300+ Years
The main female character is a witch who’s overpowered after killing over 300 slimes. She lives in a peaceful home outside of the main town, but because of her power, everyone wants to challenge her despite her keeping it on the down low.
It’s the “Goku” effect. After each defeat, many partners up with Asuza as she’s called, and ultimately become part of their accidental family who live together.
It’s a nice

His new goal is to bring the Otaku culture from Japan into this new world, which these “otherworlders” are well aware of somehow (the culture of Japan and its existence).
Outbreak Company is one of the better harem anime shows as far as writing, direction, and overall entertainment value.
5. Sword Art Online
Not much of an introduction is needed. Sword Art Online is the father of Isekai, the best-selling
What starts as a death game where the gamer’s actual lives are at risk if they die in the game, evolves into a lot more down the line with the latest series Alicization which is considered the best in the franchise so far.
Asuna is the waifu, Kirito is her official partner, and many other characters play their role in making this series still relevant.

It’s otherwise decent and similar to In Another World With My Smartphone.
7. Konosuba
Kazuma is reincarnated after an embarrassing death, which the Goddess Aqua laughs at before reviving him while smugly sitting in her throne.
Unfortunately for her, she is forced to join Kazuma in the new world (lower world) and she’s not able to use most of her “useful” abilities, making her useless. A common trope in Konosuba.
Konosuba is a master at comedy. It’s a parody after all. It deliberately takes the living piss out of tropes, cliches, and common themes you see in the anime industry.
It turns this into an art and that’s why it’s unique among comedy and

The anime follows her adventures, life, her new friendships in a foreign world far from home, and the new goals she’s set for herself.
9. The Ambition Of Oda Nobuna
The Ambition Of Oda Nobuna is an anime series about the legend of Nobunaga, a man from Japanese history who’s revered and respected.
Nobunaga was a man who is now turned into a female version you see in the image with blonde hair (Nobuna).
Yoshiharu, the male character, is reincarnated into this world and timeline where Nobuna and her henchmen exist. A world where they’re determined to reunite Japan to ensure the future of the country.
You won’t find a better anime that recounts the factual history of Nobunaga, and it’s a good series to watch if you want an anime that focuses on Japanese culture.
