Anime characters with blue eyes are some of the most common of any eye color in anime. In fact it’s probably the most common besides black or green.
Not only is it a realistic eye color resembling westerners in some cases, but it’s an eye color that’s paired with realistic hair colors at times as well.

1. Kanna Kamui (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid)
Kanna Kamui is the little dragon from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. She’s the youngest of the dragons and that reflects in her more human-like form.
Despite being younger she’s still powerful and dangerous, as shown in her “play fight” with Tohru in the first season.
Kanna is like a child as far as personality, and treats Kobayashi like a mother. She’s sensitive to other people’s feelings and is the constant source of the anime’s cute and wholesome episodes.
2. Chitoge Kirisaki (Nisekoi)
Chitoge Kirisaki is the daughter of a gang member and her whole family is full of gangsters. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. The typical match up.
Her romantic interest Ichijou is also relative to gangsters. This is why both of them decide to “pretend” to be in a relationship.
Both of their families are feuding and their romance puts them at ease.
Chitoge is a Tsundere but she’s better written than most Tsundere’s and actually has character development as well. But there needs to be a 3rd season to expand her character even more.
3. Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Bleach)
Grimmjow is one of Bleach’s most liked anime characters and semi-villains. As an Espada and one ranked #6 he has his fair share of power and strength.
His aspect of death is destruction and that’s exactly what he does which reflects in his personality and the way he behaves. He has a sadistic urge to destroy and kill, it’s what drives him.
He was even willing to rebel and go against the rules of Sosuke Aizen to fulfil his desire to fight, and he did it without regret.
4. Loid Forger (Spy x Family)
Loid Forger is the spy called Twilight and is constantly disguising himself from the national police agency (secret police). He’s a master at what he does and the anime shows it without trying too hard.
With blonde hair, blue eyes, and a professional attire, he can pass off as a doctor or a European businessman of sorts.
Despite living in the underworld and living a fake life as a spy he does show his feelings around Anya, his adopted daughter, and even Yor, his so called “fake” wife from time to time.
5. Shoto Todoroki (My Hero Academia)
He has blue eyes and white/red hair.
Shoto Todoroki is both hot and icy (no pun intended) when it comes to his powers. His abilities come straight from his parents and it shows even in his aesthetics as far as hair and face.
Being able to use ice and fire powers makes him versatile but he struggles with becoming stronger in the beginning. This evolves especially around season 5 as he gets better at using his abilities as a hero.
6. Senjougahara Hitagi (Monogatari)
Senjougahara is an official Yandere character. She has dark purple hair with blue eyes and a straightforward look in her eyes. She can come across as intense, indifferent, and honest.
Unlike many Yandere’s who are played off as cliches, Senjougahara does have some character development in the Monogatari series. This involves her relationship with Araragi.
7. Nagisa Shiota (Assassination Classroom)
Nagisa is the male character who can be mistaken for a girl depending on his hairstyle. His deliberately designed this way.
Despite seeming weaker compared to the red headed character Karma, Nagisa has his own intense moments in the series where he stands up for himself and won’t allow others to walk all over him.
His appearance gives off a nice, friendly, and relaxed vibe, but he’s not a pushover.
8. Goddess Aqua (Konosuba)
Goddess Aqua is more useful before she descends into the real world and has to live like a normal human being. She’s an overseer who judges whether the dead will reincarnate into another world.
Even though Aqua being useless is part of the anime’s comedy, there are times where the anime shows how OP she can be when it comes to the undead and otherwise strong characters she can purify.
9. Sayaka Miki (Madoka Magica)
Sayaka Miki is one of the most underrated anime characters of all the magical girls in Madoka Magica. She’s the one who has a bit of a romance going on, the only magical girl in fact.
She likes a guy called Kiyosuke. He’s a guy who’s tied to a hospital bed and can’t pursue his passion of music anymore. She visits him a lot.
On your average day Sayaka is chipper and cheerful, but can easily be overwhelmed by her negative emotions which leads to bad decisions.
Still, she’s realistic and one of the most relatable.
10. Satou’s Aunt (Happy Sugar Life)
Satou’s Aunt shows up later in the Happy Sugar Life anime, and when she does her name and image sticks. She’s one of the most memorable characters of the entire show.
This mysterious woman has purple hair, piercing blue eyes, and a glare that feels like she’s looking directly into the soul of the person she talks to.
She’s dangerously perceptive, able to figure out a person’s desires and intentions just from observing. She’s also able to unveil their darkest desires, which leaves people speechless and at a loss for words.
You can consider her to be a character who fits the Ara Ara cliche.
11. Mion Sonozaki (Higurashi)
Mion Sonozaki has green hair, blue eyes, is sarcastic, and has the best sense of humor out of all the characters in Higurashi. In fact she has one of the best personalities as well.
Being one of the powerful Sonozaki family members, she has a lot of influence by definition but also a lot of problems and family politics.
In a series full of horror, mystery, and tragedy, Mion has her fair share of this and she gets her own arc where this is put on full display like a reality TV show.
12. Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)
Naruto Uzumaki has to be mentioned on a list like this. He has the cliche blonde hair, blue eyes look to his character. A European aesthetic.
He’s gone from being a child with a demon inside him from birth who’s shunned and doubted, to being the Hokage that everyone believes in. And that includes his previous haters and detractors.
Even though he’s not the most realistic character in Naruto, he does have his characteristics and relatability. That’s why he’s one of the most famous Shounen characters to this day.
13. Gray Fullbuster (Fairy Tail)
Gray Fullbuster, the ice wizard from Fairy Tail. He uses a type of magic called “ice make magic”. He can make and create anything in the form of ice.
A skateboard, a slide, a hammer, a sword, a shield…. He has the power to create anything with his imagination and power. This power evolves to a whole new level later on in Fairy Tail when he has “demon slayer” magic.
Gray is cool, calm, and collected. The chill guy, literally. He minds his own business and will step to anyone who’s disrespectful, out of line, or hurting others unprovoked.
14. Kagami Hiiragi (Lucky Star)
Kagami is the friend of Konata Izumi, the friend Konata is usually seen teasing and being sarcastic with, which pisses off Kagami at times.
Even though Kagami acts like she’s all prim and proper, she’s actually into Fujoshi (Yaoi basically) but she doesn’t make this hobby public or let too many people know about it.
Kagami is the mature friend of Konata and one who keeps others in check.
15. Beatrice (Re:Zero)
Beatrice is the blonde Loli from Re:Zero who’s seen wearing the same outfit throughout the entire anime series. She’s always inside her own library which is its own dimension with its own set of rules.
Even though Beatrice isn’t the one seen in almost all the fights of Re:Zero, she’s easily one of the anime’s most powerful and lethal characters as far as abilities and capabilities.
Her signature line is “I suppose”.
16. Nao Tomori (Charlotte)
Nao Tomori has white hair, blue eyes, and is a girl who will stand up for others and ultimately do the right thing by others. She’s the one who recruits Yu Otosaka, a main character who uses his powers to “cheat” in school.
Both characters fall for each other in this short anime series. Nao’s on the short side and has the ability to become invisible, but it only works on one person at a time.
17. Rin Tohsaka (Fate Stay Night)
RIn Tohsaka is a strong mage from the Tohsaka family, a name she’s proud of. She carries the name and what it means everywhere with her, and it shows in her self confidence and how she carries herself as a person.
The famous “red” color is also part of the Tohsaka family.
She’s a Tsundere in the anime and is interested in Shirou Emiya, and vice versa.

18. Ciel Phantomhive (Black Butler)
Ciel Phantomhive is a British anime character from London who works under the queen as her “guard dog”. They do the dirty work in the UK even if it means killing people or those considered enemies.
With an eye patch and a demanding personality, Ciel can come across as a little b*stard depending on the person, and is intelligent beyond his years and wise to a degree.
His assistant butler Sebastian does everything Ciel asks him to do. Sebastian is a demon.
19. Misa Amane (Death Note)
Misa Amane is the later girlfriend of Light Yagami or “Kira” in the Death Note series. After stirring up a lot of trouble in the name of Kira, Light finds a way to meet with her and their relationship begins.
She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and usually wears black to match. She’s a model and is one of the anime’s most attractive female characters.
Even though she’s good at what she does (the good and bad parts), she causes some problems for Light Yagami, a guy who’s intelligence and strategic skills is on another level completely.
